Where the name came from
It sounds cool. That's the whole story. There's no origin myth here, no lab and no stretch of coastline. The brand started because the founder's son already used sea salt spray and texture powder, and the products on the shelf were all interchangeable black bottles.
What we're actually claiming
Real lift and texture that looks natural, not styled. Minimal residue, no grease, lightweight feel, low buildup. Light, flexible texture — not a firm hold.
What we're not claiming: that it works for every hair type, that it beats every other brand, or that it does anything to the health of your hair. It's a styling product. Does what it says. Nothing more.
